Hello dear teachers! Let's begin our journey towards ICT mastery. I hope you will enjoy surfing the net as you prepare an e-learning portal for your learners.


Below are the steps on how to start the tedious but fulfilling journey: (Please read all the instructions first before you do anything.)



1. Create your own blog by clicking this link http://www.blogger.com/


  • click Create a Blog and simply follow the instructions given. Just click continue to proceed to the next set of instructions. (You must have an email address before you can create a blog, don't forget to list your email address, blog address and password in a sheet of paper.)
  • blog title - the title you want for your blog (think of creative titles)
  • blog address - the address you want to access (it may be your complete name, your name and your school, etc. Just make sure it's easy for you to remember)
  • once you have an account already, start making your blog entry. (Click SAVE AS DRAFT at the bottom every now and then so you won't loose your entry)
2. In the Post window, type your lesson following the suggested format below...you may make another format later on after you've mastered the skill.

A. Description (brief overview of the lesson)
B. Learning Presentation (resources for them to read, view, or listen to)

  • to look for web resources, go to http://www.google.com/
  • in the Search bar, type the subject you want to search then copy the URL so you can paste it at the Link icon
Learning Object 1: (may be the definition of the subject)
Learning Object 2: (may be a set of examples or kinds, etc.)

C. Learning Activity (1 or 2 exercises for the students to work on)
D. Application (another activity, advance reading material related to the subject, or a written output)

3. Once you're done with everything, Click PUBLISH POST at the bottom.
4. You can now view your own spot! Congratulations! =D

  • highlight the word you want to link (in the post window)
  • copy the URL from your resource
  • click the icon with a small globe (between the Text Color and Align Left icons)
  • a pop up window comes out, paste the URL there, then click OK
